2020 High Holy Day Guest Registration

This form is for guests (non-members) of Chaverim.  If you wish to become a synagogue member or renew your membership, please click here.

Once again, Congregation Chaverim will hold beautiful, inspiring, creative and musical High Holy DayServices. This year, however, our services will be held virtually to protect everyone's health and safety.  You will see the Rabbi leading the services from her home.  Our Dianna is already recording wonderful music for you to hear.  And you will see and hear Chaverim members reading prayers and Torah, like always - but all from the safety of their homes!

Every guest will receive their own unique viewing code which cannot be shared outside of your household. Services will be held via Zoom.  We plan to have you all try the link once, before the High Holidays, so we can verify that this new process will work as expected.  If you have any questions, let us know.

Please see sidebar of exact times for each service. ⇒⇒⇒⇒⇒

As a Chaverim guest, you will receive your viewing code after the purchase of your virtual tickets in the form below.  The ticket price is $360 per family or $180 per individual watching the services.  As you know, this ticket price is a fraction of our usual ticket prices for the High Holiday services.  We understand that many are facing very challenging economic times. The ticket donation doesn't cover our costs, and if you would like to give more, it would be greatly appreciated.

Children's Program

As usual, we will offer a children's service for Yom Kippur morning.  This program will be for children up to age 13, but your children are also, of course, welcome to be with you during the adult services as well.  (In case you're wondering, everyone will be muted during the service, except those reading a prayer.)

Chaverim uses our custom prayer books.  We will have designated drive-up times for book pick-ups.

Our High Holiday Services have always been a significant source of income for us. While our expenses will be lower this year in producing virtual services, our income will be even more greatly reduced, resulting in a net loss in our Worship budget. We hope that you will be as generous as possible in making your Yom Kippur Appeal pledge this year. You will be able to make your pledge during the Yom Kippur service, just online instead of passing in your envelope.
