Since 2002 Congregation Chaverim has owned our own section at Evergreen Cemetery. Our consecrated Jewish cemetery is governed by Jewish principles overseen by Rabbi Stephanie Aaron. Our goal has been to provide appropriate affordable burial for our members, their family and loved ones, in accordance with the practices of Reform Judaism.
Non-Jewish spouses and immediate family members may also be buried here. All markers are required to be flush to the ground with no non-Jewish symbols.
Members may purchase burial rights for plots in advance of need and are encouraged to plan ahead. To reserve cemetery plots for you and your family please submit a request for a purchase of burial rights form. For a copy of the form or to submit any questions contact Ann ReVelle, the chairman of our cemetery committee, by email at cemetery@chaverim.net or by calling the Chaverim office M-F 9 am-4 pm at 520-320-1015 ext {5}.
