Welcome to Chaverim

We are a multigenerational congregation of 200 families with room for everyone. In 1973, Chaverim was founded by a group of 20 families who were looking for more connectedness in their synagogue experience. Today we have grown, but our basic goal has not changed. We reach out to all of our members so that they can connect in ways that are most meaningful to them.

It's a Time to Celebrate...Rabbi Stephanie is Back!
As of July 2008, Rabbi Stephanie Aaron has returned to our congregation after a two year sabbatical. Welcome back, Rabbi!

And Lehitraot, Rabbi Helen. We'll see you soon.
We will all greatly miss Rabbi Helen's quiet wisdom and wonderful guidance from the time she spent with us. Read her parting contribution to our June/July 2008 newsletter. You can also visit her website at www.rabbihelencohn.net. We've also kept the writings she created while with us in our archives on this website.>>
