Hi. I'm Hilary Lyons. My husband, Patrick, and I were married by Rabbi Stephanie Aaron and have been members for ten years. I have a strong Jewish upbringing, attending Hebrew school and Camp Ramah, becoming bat mitzvah, and participating in BBYO. I attended Brandeis University for two years where I pursued Judaic studies informally with the wife of a Chasidic rabbi as my teacher. I received my bachelor’s degree from the U of A in 1994 and have strong professional experience in writing, research, administration, organizing, event planning and fundraising. I have also been a substitute teacher and have had the pleasure of home schooling my three boys.

Chaverim has always been creative, open-minded and dependent on member participation. As our Education Program grows and continues to evolve, I look forward to helping to inspire a renewal of Chaverim’s root values, and creating opportunities for our members to become more involved, not only in our educational programs, but in everything the congregation has to offer.
